The Kelly Family Land
Kelly Green Farms is nestled on 15 acres, right in the middle of approx 120 acres of Kelly family land in Louisburg, NC.
Grandma & Grandpa's House
Funny enough, I actually grew up on this land on about a 1 acre plot that my dad had bought from my granddad when he married my mom. My grandparent's house was next door. Sitting way back from the road down a long path. When I was a kid, the fields in front and to the side were full of crops. There were pigs I used to visit, eggs I would collects, and beans I would pick.
Me in front of my grandparent's home, which was about 800 feet from my house growing up. In its heyday it was a home- the traditional meeting place for my huge family to congregate and play softball. It's been left on its own since my grandparents death for almost 20 years now.
The Old Farm
My grandfather inherited this farm from his father, my great grandfather-formerly a sharecropper, who acquired it during the Great Depression.
Our Family
This is the Kelly Family. My dad is that fly brother on the far left in the light colored jacket and the sizable fro.
